New ‘What If…?’ Details Emerge as Plenty of New Characters Are Set To Appear in Season 3

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ just broke $1 billion worldwide. The “greatest actor” (as the Russo Brothers called him), RDJ, is back in the MCU as Doctor Doom. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is getting teased more and more. A new Cap and Red Hulk are just around the corner—the MCU is back at the top!

Moreover, we learned new information about ‘Thunderbolts*,’ Ironheart, ‘Agatha All Along, ‘X-Men ’97’, ‘Eyes of Wakanda, ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,’ and ‘Marvel Zombies.’

But one of the projects that fans anticipated the most is the third season of ‘What If…?’. Following the well-received first two seasons, we finally got some new info about the upcoming third season of the Marvel animated project.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date yet. But what we know, unfortunately again, is that Season 3 will be the last. But there are plenty of good things ‘What If…?’ fans can look forward to.

Namely, ‘What If…?’ Season 3 will feature a range of new (old) MCU characters. Moon Knight, Ironheart, Shang-Chi, and White Vision will appear.

Also, Anthony Mackie’s Captain America will appear, and he will say that line (yes, it’s the “Avengers Assemble” line).

In addition, we know that one episode will feature an Avengers-level team-up of Captain America, Moon Knight, Monica Rambeau, and others wearing suits similar to the Power Rangers while facing off against gamma monsters.
