“Bully Maguire” Toying With Bucky Reminds Us Just How Awesome ‘Spider-Man 3’ and ‘The Winter Soldier’ Are

Before the MCU, Marvel’s superhero movies were separate from each other, with no crossover between characters from different universes. Since different studios owned the rights to different characters, no one really talked about the possibility of crossovers. However, movies like the ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy and the ‘X-Men’ series were still made and are worth mentioning.

In 2008, the MCU was created, changing how people saw comic book movies. Each MCU movie stood on its own but also connected to a larger story shared with other films. This made crossovers possible, and now they’ve become the norm, not just for superhero movies.

Recently, we came across a fun fan video that mixes Sam Raimi’s ‘Spider-Man 3’, specifically “Bully Maguire,” with ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier.’ The two characters face off in a fight, and… well, here’s how the fight goes:

The video mainly focuses on ‘Spider-Man 3’ and ‘The Winter Soldier’, but if you check the description, you’ll see clips from ‘Spider-Man’ and ‘Spider-Man 2’ were used too.

The official description says: “Mr. Ditkovitch hires a hitman (The Winter Soldier) to collect rent from Bully Maguire. But The Winter Soldier soon finds out that Bully Maguire is unstoppable and doesn’t hold back. A little dirt in his eye is the least of his problems.”

Honestly, this is a funny take on the characters. We didn’t know we needed this mash-up until we saw it, and it definitely brightened our day.

Sure, the CGI isn’t perfect, and you can spot the edits here and there, but a lot of effort went into this, and we’re really happy with the end result. It made us laugh, and we’re pretty sure it’ll make you laugh too.
