As One Midnight Sons Member Will Appear in ‘Agatha All Along’, Will We See the Rest in the MCU Soon?

‘Agatha All Along’ is the next MCU show that fans can enjoy. It will focus on Agatha Harkness. After being trapped by the Scarlet Witch, Agatha finds a way to escape but has no powers. To regain them, she must team up with a group of witches who are brave enough to walk the witches’ path.

The show has a fun storyline and a great cast. Kathryn Hahn will return as Agatha Harkness, with Joe Locke as Billy Kaplan and Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale. Ali Ahn will play Alice Wu-Gulliver, while Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili have roles that haven’t been revealed yet. Debra Jo Rupp will appear as Sharon Davis, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, and Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal, or the Green Witch.

‘Agatha All Along” teases several interesting characters, including Joe Locke’s “The Teen,” who is likely Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan, the reincarnated son of the Scarlet Witch from the comics. What many may have missed, though, is that the show could play a key role in introducing the Midnight Sons into the MCU.

There have been rumors about a Midnight Sons project in development for some time. Some members of this potential team are already part of the MCU, and ‘Agatha All Along’ is expected to bring in another—Jennifer Kale. Played by Sasheer Zamata, Jennifer is described as a potion specialist who uses alchemy and chemistry, but her backstory in the comics is even more intriguing.

In the comics, Jennifer Kale is Johnny Blaze’s cousin and a sorcerer trained by Dakimh the Enchanter. She was killed by Victoria Hand, influenced by Daniel Drumm, but later came back to life and aided Maria Hill and Elektra in battles against Bullseye and the Hand. This means Jennifer could not only be part of the Midnight Sons but might also cross paths with Daredevil.

While not much is known about the MCU’s Midnight Sons lineup yet, recent insider reports suggest possible members could include Wong, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Werewolf by Night, and Man-Thing. In order of likelihood, other potential members are Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Elsa Bloodstone, Dr. Strange, and Agatha Harkness. The team is expected to have 6 to 9 members.
