Andrew Garfield and denying being in an MCU Spider-Man movie – a lifelong story. In fact, there’s a pretty good compilation online where the second live-action Spider-Man is lying about him being in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’:

But you can’t blame him. The buzz behind ‘No Way Home’ and whether Andrew and Toby will reprise their roles as Spider-Men were huge. In the end, the audience wanted the answer and couldn’t wait to watch the movie and see if they were, in fact, in Tom Holland’s third Spider-Man movie.

That was reflected in the movie’s box office results. ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ amassed a staggering $1.916 billion ($804.6 million domestically), making it the seventh highest-grossing movie of all time!

In recent months, it seems that Marvel is following the now-established formula when it comes to Spider-Man 4. The buzz is already big: will it be a multiversal or a street-level story? Will Kingpin and Daredevil appear? Will Toby and Andrew reprise their roles again?

If you ask Andrew Garfield, there is no chance he will appear in Spider-Man 4. But we’ve all heard that before. 🙂

IndieWire recently interviewed Garfield about ‘Spider-Man 4.’ Andrew denied his involvement with the movie, stating that fans have been duped by online rumors:

“The internet is a big place. I think there’s a lot of people who will just say anything to get clicks. So you might have been duped, I’m afraid.”

Learning from the past, it seems that fans are now having none of it. In fact, they think that he actually confirmed that he WILL be in the movie. 🙂
