Rumor: Marvel Is Looking for a Way To Make Daredevil Share Screen with Moon Knight and Yelena Belova

MCU is returning to street-level story-telling with ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ next year. The show will feature the return of Karen and Foggy, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, and Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye. It is already setting itself up to be worthy of Netflix’s original.

But it seems that Marvel Studios wants an even larger pool of characters to play within the show to truly make ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ a huge hit. Namely, Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight and Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova are rumored to appear in ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’

In Alex Perez’s latest Discord Q&A, he said that Marvel Studios plans to use Daredevil to introduce street-level stories in the MCU:

idoideas: Are we going to see Daredevil blending more into the greater MCU? Should we expect him to fight alongside other Marvel heroes in a feature film?

Alex: Definitely. Marvel intends to use Daredevil as a gateway to new stories for street superheroes. In terms of interactions, we can expect, of course, the long-awaited team-up between Spider-Man and Daredevil.

I’ve also heard of some ideas down the road for Daredevil to encounter other heroes, particularly Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight and Florence Pugh’s Black Widow. However, those are still just ideas down the road for different projects.

Oscar Isaac is also rumored to return in ‘Moon Knight’ Season 2 and is confirmed to appear in ‘What If…?’ Season 3. On the other hand, Florence Pugh will star in ‘Thunderbolts*’ next year and will probably reprise her role as Yelena in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’

As far as Daredevil is concerned, we already know the show is getting a second season. Furthermore, it is rumored that if the fourth Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie adapts a more street-level story, there is a good chance we will see a Spidey-Daredevil team-up (Marvel Studios knows pretty well that will sell the cinemas like crazy).

It remains to be seen whether we will see Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight and Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova in ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025, with a nine-episode first season. It will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.
